Here are two sample spreads from the Dealer Calendar I designed for Alfred Music. I had a ton of fun browsing hundreds (if not thousands) of fonts that would match the vibe of the photo we chose for each month.
The following year we decided to go with an illustrated approach. We took inspiration from old screen-printed posters, and created landscapes that were composed out of musical elements.
